Book Description

One of the most important but often overlooked components the world is able to use is creativity. Growing up, we tend to lose it for the sake of becoming what is deemed normal. Creativity is something I value very deeply and I hope for this to inspire those reading to utilize their God-given gift of it not for themselves, but for others. It starts with an idea, creating it, executing it, and leveraging it.

"There is a thin line between confidence and arrogance. Part of having creative confidence is knowing there is much more for one to learn along their journey. You should never get to the point that you are an independent creative overall genius, because even geniuses humble themselves and seek help whenever they need it. Establishing it signifies that God has given you the type of confidence you are unable to find within the things of the world such as clothes, cars, or other earthly luxuries. Rather than those stated, creative confidence in Christ means fully knowing your strengths, weaknesses, not allowing your weaknesses to succumb yourself or your craft, and daring to be innovative when the world goes against it. This type of confidence willallow you to fully exercise your right to be eclectic, innovative, and mostly, original. It will allow you to do more than you will ever expect, and go as far as God intends. We have been led to believe that copying is a more effective route and while that is an advancement towards the human flesh, it does nothing to ultimately nourish the spirit, nor advance us toward fulfilling what we were called to do. Everything we ever achieve in this lifetime should stem from all that God has placed in us and nothing outside of that. It is foolish to take sole credit in things we ultimately don't deserve. Doing so, these achievements will be worthless. Confidence through the world may get you far but confidence through Christ will carry you for miles upon miles."
