What’s Going On?

I strongly believe it is proper to say this book was written by divine compulsion! The Holy Ghost implanted firmly within my heart, a burden for God’s children who have already given their heart to Jesus, but who have not yet found the strength to shake off the ravages of Satan and his minions of darkness.

The Holy Spirit of God is truly an irresistible force. He is impossible to ignore, except on purpose. As our earthly comforter and guide, the Holy Spirit has assured my heart that someone will be changed through this offering. Someone will move up out of a poverty of spirit mentality (wallowing in sin and wrong thinking), to a reaping, expectant, power of spirit mentality (embracing all righteousness and right thinking). All roadblocks to success in the kingdom will be removed as the veil of deceit is lifted, clearly exposing the enemy!

Exposing the enemy: Each one of us is a different, spiritually unique, child of God. I believe God put within each of us a certain portion of His desire that we then champion as a cause. While God has a comprehensive desire for His people, He puts a little of that desire in you, and a little of that desire in someone else, a little token of that desire in me, and then that portion becomes our primary focus in ministry. In essence, I’m saying that certain things tip the scale of compassion for me that might not even register for someone else.

Let’s look at an example of this principle: We have in the “Body of Christ” today, what I call “specialists,” such as: financial prosperity preachers, healing evangelists, even those who preach coming to salvation almost exclusively, like Evangelist Billy Graham.

Although we all have a foundational burden for soul winning, my specialcompassion is for members of the “Body of Christ” living beneath your covenant privilege, while professing to be children of the Most High God. This beloved should not happen!

God’s child should never be found underneath the covenant privileges outlined for us in the Bible. We should show forth His glory and His purpose for our life. So, stop it, don’t do it anymore! Let’s band together and become poster children for the glory and purpose of God. Psalm 24 is our key!

Psalm 24, verses 1-10 exclaim:

The earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

For He has founded it upon the seas; and established it upon the floods.

Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who shall stand in His holy place?

He that has clean hands, and a pure heart; who has not lifted his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

He shall receive blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

This is the generation of them that seek Him, that seek Your face, O Jacob. Selah.

Lift up your heads, O you gates; and be lifted up, you everlasting doors; and the King of Glory shall come in.

Who is this King of Glory? The Lord strong and mighty; the Lord mighty in battle.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, you everlasting doors; and the King of Glory shall come in.

Who is this King of Glory? The Lord of Hosts, He is the King of Glory. Selah.

So, lift up your head, O ye gate, ye everlasting door, and the King of Glory shall come into your life right now, today even.

Look, we’re beginning a journey today. No, we’re not jumping on a plane, or even taking a fast car, although I know we like things to happen fast. Instead, see yourself like God’s people of old; perhaps in a desert place, or in a wilderness place, beginning the journey to the high place of God.

Maybe you are privileged in that your journey began years ago, and now you’re somewhere on the continuum between the wilderness place and the “promised land of blessing;” nevertheless, everyone has a journey to complete. This journey will require that we delve into Scripture to hear from the Lord, to find His proscriptions for a successful journey through the labyrinth of life, to finally arrive safely at our destination.

Our destination is brilliance!
