Every minute of the day I think about you

Your kisses, your touch I'm hoping they’re as sweet as listening to you

Thinking of how it would feel to be next to you

Every second of those minutes of everyday, I need you

What I want is you

From here, all I want is to be in your cue

I know nothing about being with you, or even if you would want to share a view

But I want you.

I’m just thinking about us in the past and how we fit

We were kids, but even back then, I majored in English lit

We barely spoke face to face, but on the phone, we had so much to say

Back then our life was simple

And you loved me, even with all my pimples

I believe, back then, if you could, you would have married me

But I saw other things and ignored the potential of what we could be

I found someone else, in my eyes better than you

And he truly was, but we never had the same view

It’s not like I missed you or anything like that

I dated other men and never thought about going back

Just one day, I was so bored and you popped in my head

And I thought,” I wonder if he has forgotten the past and doesn’t wish I was dead”

I don’t know what I wanted when I reached out to you

But when we spoke, I couldn’t resist sharing a smoke with you

Anything at this point, even though I don’t blow

But I wanted to be back in this and create a flow

Rub my fingers through your head and massage your back

We don’t even have to speak, just take me in and let’s take it back

But in a perfect world, everything will go my way

But I once wrote, I lost two men in one day

And things never change

I pray for you though, I pray for us

Hoping my desire won’t be a bust

We could be great

I could love you for a long time

But the first time I left you, broke us apart

And I can’t bring myself to be with you only just to break your heart again

I want you though, tattoos and all

Will you have me again?

I promise not to let you fall
