Princess Aironell is destined to rule over the kingdom of Bachusa and bring about continued peace, yet there are forces who conspire to bring about the end of her rule, even before it begins. For her safety, she is taken away until she comes of age, while Bachusa undergoes turmoil, and deep rooted scheming unfolds in the wake of her mysterious disappearance. Alzerion, the commander of the army, has spent his whole life in service to the King and Queen, but can it be that he is not as trustworthy and loyal as he appears? These two will stop at nothing to fight for what they want.
Inside the safety of the Palace stood an upset Queen Evalyn and King
Francisco, and they were pondering the recent events since their
daughter’s birth. Both the King and Queen had done wonders for Bachusa
and the constant threats against their daughter angered and worried
them. They always put their country and duty first, but now they also
had a daughter to think about. Even after Aironell was born, they both
continued to enhance Bachusa and its overall atmosphere. Since they
wanted Bachusa to be the best place to live, they felt that they put a

in his black slacks and dark brown doublet with navy blue trimming.
“About Aironell, it’s getting too risky and dangerous to have her
out and about in the town,” she said with a melancholy tone, as she
threw her arms in the air.
Her arms were slightly masked by the trumpet shaped sleeves of her navy
blue and auburn gown.
“Then we will keep her inside until it is safe,” he responded as his
brown eyes watched his wife.
“How will we know when it is safe?”
“I guess when she’s no longer threatened and we-”
“Sire,” responded the voice from Alzerion, who was the Royal
Now this fourteen-year-old was not quite like others of his age. The
King and Queen found that they were growing rather fond of him as he got
older. He had these warm, charming eyes that shone a radiant cinnamon
red, and his hair always looked a bit messy and disheveled. He was
always going around the Palace trying to accomplish a great many things,
and this evening was just like any other.
“It’s Aironell, she’s… missing!” he blurted out in a scared
and worried tone.
