Born in the Midlands in 1965, Mark is the youngest of 2 children. Losing his mother to leukaemia in 1975, and leaving school seven years later at the height of the biggest recession ever witnessed in Great Britain, work was not easy to come by, and Mark held down a number of jobs, but his passion for the arts led him to follow other paths in his spare time. He played piano and keyboards for a number of working bands during the 80's & 90's, and also composed several classical pieces, and dabbled in soundtrack composition. He married Patricia in 2000, and became a father the following year, and shared his time between work, being a father, and music, but always felt he should write, never finding the time until 2016 when he started work on his debut thriller , 13 Angels. This was completed the following year, and Mark is currently involved in a number of writing projects, including a follow-up to 13 Angels, and a biographical work yet to be announced. This isn't his own biography. " My story isn't finished, so I can't write it. Besides, I wouldn't write about myself. I can't think of anything more boring. The imagination is often a much better place to visit"
