Louis Villalba was born in Cadiz, Spain, but has resided in the US since 1970. His first career was medicine. He trained in neurology at the Chicago Medical School where he taught for thirty years. He pursued creative writing at Northwestern University. His first book, "The Silver Teacup," or its Spanish version, "La Tacita de Plata," contains short stories that shuttles the reader to a different world full of history, human drama, and fantasy. His most recent novel, “The Stranger’s Enigma,” blurs the line between reality and dreams and, according to Kirkus Review is “a provocative character study of a man facing a personal and professional crisis.” His blog, www.theclassicwriter.com ,” deals with English classical authors’ literary snippets and showcases his works.
