Fred Lichtenberg

Fred Lichtenberg is a native New Yorker who lives with his wife in Jupiter, Florida. He has one son. Formerly with the IRS, Fred's passion for writing drove him to change hats and become a full-time writer. His latest novel (first non-mystery) Retired: Now What? is a humorous tale with serious issues. The story follows Eddie Short as he makes his agonizing decision to retire, and then watch as he navigates the first year into retirement. Watch out Baby Boomers! Fred’s previous works include, Deadly Heat at The Cottages: Sex, Murder, and Mayhem, (2013) a mix of zany characters and crazy situations in a fun place called The Cottages; Double Trouble, set in South Florida, New York, Las Vegas and Cancun, Mexico (2012); and Hunter’s World, a murder mystery set on New York’s Long Island, which was released by Five Star Publishing in May 2011. In addition to writing mystery novels, Fred has written shorts stories and a one-act play titled The Second Time Around ... Again, about finding love in a nursing home, at the Lake Worth Playhouse.
